Sometimes just a simple stick is the best toy to discover the natural world. Our beach in front of the house!
We recently moved to the beach from Juneau, AK and am missing some social scenes for little people and wanted to offer child care to residents in the area. I provide transportation to and from Crestview Heights Elementary and hope to be taking children to the Yachats Preschool program in the fall. It should be a great summer and we are excited to meet new people, take hikes, spend lots of time at the beach. We are all of one shoreline and want to create an atmosphere of mutual respect for our surroundings and the people, animals and plant life within. I have a very Montessori teaching style and my older girl attended Montessori school in Alaska. We love to do arts and crafts, beach collecting, and lots of sensory play and healthy organic scratch cooking.
